Quality, Safety & Value Consultant
As a Consultant within Cerner Government Services on the Value Management Team, you will consult with clients on service line workflow, and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts as well as provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will drive client-specific value planning activities, including metric identification, assessment of gap analysis from current to future state workflow, and make recommendations to clients and mitigate solution risks and issues. In scope will be to execute workflow and process improvement strategies, lead client meetings and events as well as drive internal team initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 3 years of software implementation work experience
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care or Business, Industrial Engineering or Process Improvement or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 3 years of health care information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or support work experience
Six Sigma Green Belt - International Association for Six Sigma Certification
Willing to travel up to 80% of the time if needed
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to a virtually approved city
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
