This role will be directly responsible for enhanced asset movement and account maintenance review as well as supervisory oversight of asset movement and account maintenance transactions within the Middle Office Services Group. As a Qualified Supervisor, the individual (s) within this role will identify operational risk, trends and patterns, and ensure adherence to departmental and firm policies and procedures. Train a group of associates with diverse backgrounds and skillsets. Work closely with the regional and branch staff on compliance and supervision policies, practices and resolution of issues. Escalate issues to the appropriate management level for resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of financial services industry experience

  • 1+ year of experience in branch office compliance, sales supervision, or a combination of both

  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 9/10 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of branch associates and business units

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

  • Ability to communicate trends and impacts to mid-senior level management

  • Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution

  • Ability to provide oversight and guidance on escalated issues

  • Knowledge and understanding of operational risk management in the financial services industry

  • 2+ years of leadership experience including coaching, training and mentoring

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 2 years brokerage experience related to front office or back office operations

  • 2 years asset movement experience involving journals, wires and ACHs

Job Expectations

  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.

  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required

  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
