How will you make an impact?

This individual will develop, coordinate and implement hands-on, classroom, self-study and/or eLearning training related to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, controlled document training with assessments, as well as initial critical job tasks for QC and/or Manufacturing personnel.

What will you do?

  • Develop, update and deliver training courses for New Employee Orientation, including engaging activities to ensure comprehension.

  • Develop, update and deliver training courses for Introductory Skills in either QC or Bio-manufacturing, to include prescribed learning objectives with demonstrated behaviors.

  • Work closely with On the Job Trainers/Mentors to fulfill organizational expectations of functional competency by coordinating training programs within designated employee groups (QA, QC, Manufacturing).

  • Develop and deliver training materials, programs and curricula for identified departments, i.e. QC and/or Manufacturing.

  • Develop eLearning through the use of Computer Based Training (CBT) tools, i.e. Captivate.

  • Maintain and evaluate weekly KPIs

  • Provide training support to training improvement initiatives consistent with a cGMP environment.

  • Represent Training Department on assigned project teams, specifically job task analysis for curriculum building.

  • Participate in roll-out efforts of training initiatives

  • Create On-line-trainings for controlled documents, including assessments

  • Conduct Training Audits per defined Training Program guidelines

  • Ensure customer expectations are met for the quality of the final GMP document and its implementation schedule, by executing activities in Learning Management System (LMS) assigning training requirements, updating training items, generating reports as required, data-entry, archiving, etc.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Instructional Design/Technology or closely related field

  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 5+ years of GMP experience or other highly regulated industry experience required.

  • Some exposure to manufacturing or Quality environment required.

  • Training on controlled document training with assessments and initial critical job tasks for either QC or Manufacturing personnel required.

  • Experience with self-study and/or eLearning training related to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Effective demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good organization, planning, team mentality, and time management skills.

  • Ability to utilize software and customized programs to meet business needs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
