This position reports to the Sr. Director of HR.

What you’ll do

Responsible for the design, development and delivery of innovative and interactive solutions for learning and performance support. Ensures individual employee requirements are met before expiration of credentials or licenses. In addition, this role would assist in the development of training programs and materials, including participant manuals and workbooks, facilitator guides, computer based training material, job aids, evaluations.

About you

  • Team with Operations to coordinate/support skills training that is based on customer/program production specifications.

  • Conducts pre-design analysis to produce step level descriptions or flow charts of job tasks

  • Conducts developmental testing, validation, and usability testing to ensure the effectiveness of training materials and training interventions

  • Develops and maintaining products using mechanized support tools including desktop publishing, spreadsheets, presentation packages, Website authoring, "help file" authoring, graphics packages, and office management systems

  • Works closely with and providing guidance to on-the-job (OJT) instructors to assist in their direct coaching and training of hourly personnel

  • Develops course content, determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities

  • Develops and assigns learning content within the Learning Management System

  • Provides classroom Instruction and acts as train-the-trainer

  • Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Business or related discipline or 5 years of related experience in lieu of a degree

  • 3 years of experience in training with focus on technical training within a manufacturing environment

  • 3 years of experience in instructional design and development

  • LMS administration experience required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Must be a US Citizen per ITAR regulations and site SSA requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace industry

  • Lean and/or Continuous Improvement experience
