Bayer Senior Technical Recruiter in St. Louis, Missouri

Position Overview:

At The Climate Corporation, we build software that helps farmers increase their crops and manage their farms in a more sustainable way. We are looking for a seasoned Technical Recruiter to join us as we scale our team and the company.

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Climate, you truly enjoy full lifecycle recruiting including building strong partnerships with hiring managers, developing strategic recruiting plans, sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing candidates for positions in Engineering and Data Analytics. You have a passion for hiring a diverse set of candidates and helping to improve I&D hiring efforts along with your peers in the organization. You are the type of person who consistently identifies areas where the business and our recruiting processes or practices can evolve. You get excited when you have the opportunity to craft and implement improvements. You enjoy coaching and training hiring managers and interviewers to ensure the thoughtful attraction, assessment and closing of talent. You will participate in and help plan events and activities to help drive attraction, awareness and social media presence for Climate. And finally, you take pride in following legal and compliant hiring practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with hiring managers to build hiring strategies and candidate pipelines. Source, assess, and close high caliber candidates for our R&D teams.

  • Conduct in-depth interviews based on team needs and build a network of talented and diverse candidates

  • Work with HRBPs and compensation team to drive the offer process - including offer creation, extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates

  • Track and manage pipeline activity and metrics; proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Recruiting team members to innovate our research strategy for talent pooling, market mapping, and competitor analysis

  • Ensure hiring team readiness during the interview process. Ensure interviews are following consistent, legal, efficient, and professional practices that create a thoughtful candidate experience.

  • Participate in various projects to help continuously improve recruiting function

  • Facilitate and lead meetings, key initiatives and/or projects with client groups and recruiting teams to continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience with leading technology companies, in-house experience preferred

  • Solid understanding of strong software engineering candidate profiles from mid level to Architect & Directors

  • Experience with sourcing and finding, engaging, activating, and closing talent

  • Experience utilizing a metrics-driven approach to recruiting

  • Solid research skills
