Cigna Senior Project Advisor, Pharmacy Retention - Express Scripts in St. Louis, Missouri
The Senior Project Advisor supports cross-functional, innovative projects and process improvement initiatives in support of the Express Scripts Pharmacy (EXP) growth strategy. This role is critical to the success of the RxFactor program which is the innovation engine of the pharmacy. The senior advisor will help drive and support the leads of the retention growth arm throughout the entire RxFactor pilot lifecycle: from ideation to pilot creation, pilot launch, analytical assessment, and full scale. The Sr Advisor will support identification of impacts, ideas, and more to support business process enhancements and to identify appropriate steps to deliver on pilot program outcomes. This position will be a key resource in delivering on the Express Scripts Pharmacy innovation strategy. Responsible for consulting with cross-functional partners on key pharmacy retention projects, analyzing data to provide content for strategic direction, and managing project plans to execution.
Responsible for planning and successful execution of large cross-functional projects, which include defining and documenting project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and work plans.
Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently with minimal direction.
Successfully drive and implement appropriate actions for key pharmacy projects to achieve defined strategic goals.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to deliver on project goals.
Manage tight deadlines for multiple competing priorities, scope, and converging opinions to solution in a timely manner.
Analyze complex situations; transform issues into options and drive to appropriate conclusions.
Communicate effectively with individuals in various functional areas and at all levels of management.
Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to define and document both current state and future state processes.
Identifying, collaborating, and implementing process improvements when needed to meet compliance, strategic, and/or stakeholder needs.
Build weekly status report presentations and communicate progress to Sr. Leadership
Facilitate ideation session for ever-evolving roadmap planning and prioritization
Communicate risks and issues to Sr. Leaders in efforts to remove barriers quickly
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
5-8 years relevant project/program management experience.
Understanding of lean and/or agile methodology preferred
PMP certification preferred.
Proficiency with project management software to effectively outline and track tasks that drive to milestone completion.
Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills required.
Demonstrated self-initiative to work independently.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, ability to deliver against aggressive timelines/deadlines.
Understanding of the healthcare/PBM industry a plus.
Proven ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently.
Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams in support of project completion, while obtaining needed buy-in from stakeholders.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
