TheSupervision Divisionof the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is looking forBank Examiners for its Safety and Soundness Unit,to belocated in St. Louis, Memphis, Little Rock or Louisville. Safety and Soundness examiners conduct commercial bank examinations and bank holding company inspections. The St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank is part of the Federal Reserve System, and acts as the supervisor for financial institutions in its district. Responsibilities * Evaluate the soundness of the institution's assets and the effectiveness of its internal operations, policies and management. * Analyze key financial factors, such as capital, earnings and liquidity * Assess the institution's sensitivity to certain risks. * Check for compliance with banking laws and regulations. * Periodically review and analyze various reports to gauge the overall soundness of District institutions and identify those that fail certain financial criteria.
