The IBM Watson & Cloud Platform team is looking for a proven Marketing Campaign Guild Leader who is creative, collaborative, and has a passion for demand marketing. We are looking for an innovative thinker with experience in developing integrated campaigns that attract new customers, cross-sell to existing customers, and progresses pipeline to deliver outstanding results. The Campaign Guild Leader will specialize in Campaign Management best practices and is someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and jump right in.
The candidate is responsible for enabling the co-creation and execution of the end-to-end campaign strategy and activities across all the business units in our division (Watson, Cloud, and Weather) and across all our geos. Pipeline creation, along with generating new leads, is at the center of what we do. The Guild Leader will help campaign strategists embedded in diamond teams apply analytics and insights to better profile, target and retarget prospects driving the continual optimization of campaign execution and delivering higher quality responses and improving conversion rates.
Work with IBM marketing diamond teams to translate business goals and objectives from marketing plans into actionable integrated campaign plans that deliver engagement, leads, pipeline and revenue.
Apply knowledge to assigned Performance Marketing responsibilities leveraging a cross-IBM Point of View (POV) to drive demand for the program.
Set priorities in implementation and development of campaigns that support the business and program strategy/objectives, integrating the right mix of Demand Generation tactics.
Coordinate with the corporate marketing team to share best practices, new vendors and insights to continually improve our campaign performance.
Work closely with the entire WW, Digital Marketing Centers and North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Greater China, and Japan performance marketing teams taking a leadership role to ensure timely campaign delivery, execution, feedback and optimization.
Negotiate with cross program and business unit peers to deliver exceptional customer experiences through the campaigns.
Identify and implement breakthrough ideas and innovative tactics that are adopted across our campaigns to attract new buyers.
Work to analyze and identify root cause and action plans to address program performance issues and drive continual improvement in both worldwide and regional campaign results.
Track, Measure and report the global campaign performance against agreed-upon metrics, working across regions to identify and analyze gaps and actions plans to course-correct as the campaign execution unfolds.
Communicate effectively on a regularly scheduled cadence to ensure stakeholder alignment.
Function as the team lead for the world-wide campaign marketing team including local, agency and Global Digital Marketing Center team members.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy and best practices
Expertise in planning, evaluating, executing and measuring campaigns.
Results-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, self-directed team player with a positive attitude.
Self-starter with energy, drive and determination to accomplish goals and demonstrated ability to multi-task and stay focused.
5+ years in campaign management.
2+ years preferred experience in cloud product and/or AI marketing
Able to travel and work flexible hours to accommodate multiple time zones.
Candidate can be located in New York, NY or Austin, Texas
