KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Service Operations to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Strategic responsibility for KPMG's Incident Management, Problem Management, Vulnerability Management, Availability Management, Operational Monitoring, and Event Management across IT
Define and maintain system and service monitoring standards in support of service availability and performance Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and an Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)
Establish a proactive team that anticipates and prevents potential outages, striving for continued improvement in service availability, and shorter service restoration times
Collaborate with Executive Leadership on the strategic and tactical planning of operations in a large enterprise environment, enforcing best practices design, implementation and operational standards
Provide governance for all changes made to minimize impact to the business and ensure compliance with standards and controls for all involved teams
Hire, train and organize high performance teams, using standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to staff; Provide Metrics / KPI definition, trend analysis with recommendations and ensure team objectives are clearly defined and managed, acting as primary point of escalation for issue resolution
Qualifications:
Minimum ten years’ experience in IT network operations, in a large scale organization
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree is preferred
Thorough knowledge in maintaining and implementing technology operations, including data center environments, telecom and WAN
Extensive experience with servers, storage, networks, Cisco, and Palo Alto V5
Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; Ability to foster the development of high performance teams
Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team
