Kapili Services is looking for a qualified Data Analyst (Tracking Tool Coordinator) to provide professional support to the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), Navy Medicine Records Activity (NMRA), for Records Processing services at the Navy Medicine Records Activity (NMRA) in St. Louis, MO.
The Data Analyst (Tracking Tool Coordinator) will provide analytical support to BUMED per reference NAVADMIN 181/17 and 173/17 Navy Medicine and NMRA guidance.
Provide account management for the NSIPS STR Tracking and Reporting Tool or other future tracking tools.There are currently 305 active accounts and an average of 5 applications per week attributed to growth and turnover.
Verify the accuracy of User Roles in NSIPS for requests as a NMRA Analyst, NMRA User, and Command User Account
Approve or Disapprove all account requests (approximately 5 per week) for NMRA Analyst, NMRA User, and Echelon and Command User Accounts
Modify established accounts to accommodate UIC changes
Run account-related reports monthly
Provide a weekly report to leadership on new account creation
Verify, create, maintain, and distribute a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document regarding access and common issues
Work with the NSIPS Helpdesk to resolve issues related to user account and system access
Provide general tool training on access to the NMRA Coordination Cell on a quarterly basis
Maintain a trouble ticket log and provide a report on NSIPS STR Tracking on a monthly basis
Assist the NSIPS program office with the collection of and submission for system change
Provide reports to assist in determining beneficial improvements
Perform data analysis of the tracking tool to ensure accuracy of data from both the tracking tool, NMRA, and/or external organizations and performing analysis to resolve discrepancies
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis.
Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Professional Suite, especially Access, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have a strong knowledge of Standard Query Language (SQL) and SharePoint, plus experience with basic EXCEL functions such as VLOOKUP and PIVOT tables.
Military knowledge and background is preferred.
Must be US Citizen, be able to pass a Criminal History Background Check, Drug Screening, must have and maintain a Tier 3 SECRET and ADP/IT-II security clearance.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret security clearance as needed. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret security Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment, and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
