Summary The Administrative Coordinator assists department personnel by performing a variety of clerical functions including, typing, data entry, scanning, copying, and other tasks by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Types correspondence, file records, and performs other clerical tasks as directed.
Uses computer to create Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations or other Microsoft Office files as directed.
May manage company mail according to established procedures.
Enters accurate client information into system applications.
Prepares policies, renewals and other documents for delivery to insured.
Follows Agency procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
