Job Profile Summary & Responsibilities:
The Accounting Project Management Advisor will play a key role in executing on key initiatives for the Health Services Accounting Project Management Office (PMO).
Executes on high-priority projects and process mapping activities, and contributes to continuous process improvement efforts in the Health Services Accounting organization.
Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget.
Supports the initial establishment of the Accounting PMO and socialization of the PMO to internal and cross-functional partners.
Defines and measures success of supported projects.
Creates leadership-facing presentation, dashboards, and reporting as the needs arise.
Ensures effective communications with key stakeholders and change management processes are in place throughout project work.
Collaborates with other team members within and outside of the team to ensure relevant best practices are shared.
Possesses some accounting and project management knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree required
Previous accounting and project management experience and/or or experience working with these teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of confidence in public speaking
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make decisions with minimal supervision
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with other departments to drive solutions
Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Self-starter, quick learner and team player
