Humana's Medicaid Enrollment and Premium Reconciliation department is looking for an experienced Process Improvement Professional 2 that is both, analytical and data driven to be a part of an energetic and growing team! This consumer-centric team is a crucial component to ensuring not short of a positive experience starting the very moment Medicaid members enroll. As a Process Improvement Professional 2, you will play a big part in analyzing current processes and driving improvements that impact the member experience and often times, this is a member's first experience with Humana.  

This role is 100% remote working anywhere is the US. However, anyone located within 50 miles of Louisville, KY may be required to join in-office for in-person collaboration once CDC restrictions are lifted.

Responsibilities

The Process Improvement Professional 2 analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.

Key Role Functions

  • Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data

  • Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost

  • Determine how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes

  • May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience

  • Previous experience analyzing and interpreting data 

  • Strong analytical insights and ability to root cause intricate scenarios with multiple data sets

  • Ability to compile large data sets into concise reporting that will drive business decisions

  • Ability to write and execute SQL

  • Experienced in Microsoft Access & Excel, including pivot tables and queries

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated and results driven focus

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

  • Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings 

  • Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Located in Louisville, KY

  • Knowledge of EDW Tables

  • Medicaid knowledge experience

  • Experience with capitation and premium related tasks

  • Ability to interpret CMS and State guidance
