BKD, LLP Email Marketing Associate in Springfield, Missouri

The Email Marketing Associate is responsible for the development and deployment of firm emails, national campaigns, BKD Thoughtware® (articles, blogs, and webinars), webpage builds, and database management. You will develop, test, and deliver digital marketing projects and work with the digital marketing team on many strategic, firmwide email, and digital marketing projects. The Email Marketing Associate will be the firm’s knowledge source for Thoughtware distribution, email marketing best practices, email content, calls-to-action, and email automation capabilities.

You must possess excellent project management skills in order to juggle multiple assignments and manage priorities. The position requires open, client-centric communication with other team members to ensure project objectives are achieved and deadlines are met. He/she must be an ambitious self-starter who is passionate about creating client-focused campaigns that reflect the BKD brand.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with writers and designers to develop firm emails, managing projects from planning to send

  • Use Marketo (email marketing automation) to test and deploy emails, troubleshooting design, and development challenges to meet complex client needs

  • Provide innovative, creative solutions for firmwide email, and digital marketing campaigns

  • Create Thoughtware webpages and maintain and update existing Thoughtware webpages

  • Assist with database integrity, related projects, and updating contact records

  • Attend meetings and communicate effectively with team members regarding firmwide email and digital marketing projects

  • Stay current on email and digital marketing standards and educate others on best practices

  • Manage time wisely to simultaneously work on multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines

  • Proactively research and evaluate new email and digital marketing solutions as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field or commensurate experience

  • 1 to 2 years or more of experience with digital marketing

  • Email marketing experience, preferred

  • HTML, Drupal, and Photoshop knowledge, preferred

  • Experience working with Marketo, other email marketing solutions or strong desire to learn

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, other customer relationship management or strong desire to learn

  • Excellent understanding of user interface design and user experience
