POSITION SUMMARY The Sr. Business Analyst supports the competitive intelligence process and function within the company. The competitive intelligence function will manage the collection, organization and analysis of competitive market data to develop insights and create deliverables with actionable information for various areas of the organization. This position utilizes research, analytical and financial aptitude with healthcare experience to provide business support to key areas of Company includes Sales and Account Management, Product, Supply Chain and others. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Work with internal clients to complete ad hoc competitive intelligence research projects, including research into competitor products, programs, and other relevant competitive data, ensuring research meets the needs of the requestor and is interpreted correctly * Writing, drafting, and distribution of Competitive Intelligence information to the organization to include monthly bulletins, and special alerts, on an as-need basis in a clear, concise, and relevant manner * Creation and management of competitor profiles, presentations, and other competitor information * Proactively research and analyze competitors and identify new issues and trends to support Company strategic planning process * Present Competitive Intelligence material and other relevant information to internal and external clients * Dissemination, analysis, and ad hoc modeling of competitor financial information, to include benchmarking and understanding of the implications related to competitor financial trends * Ownership and maintenance of the Competitive Intelligence SharePoint site, ensuring documents, presentations, and other collateral is up-to-date and stored in an organized manner * Requesting competitor Request for Proposals RFPs via the Freedom of Information Act FOIA; storing, synthesizing, and distributing valuable information as needed * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * BS/BA degree or 11 14 years of relevant working experience. * Five to eight years of experience; or three to five years with Master s Degree. * Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Experience in TSO, JCL, SQL, QMF, MS-Project preferred. * Ability to handle analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions. * Strong business and organizational skills; Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Solid customer service, technical, analytical, and communication skills required.
