How will you make an impact?

The Senior Manager, Finance is a key leadership role within the US Biologics finance team. As the manager of all financial planning and analysis activities, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the annual budget process and supporting the weekly revenue forecast activities. By way of involvement on special projects, both finance and non-finance in nature, the Senior Manager, Finance will be a key resource for the organization to provide financial advice and guidance on many issues, some of which are complex in nature, spanning from commercial to manufacturing to administrative topics. As part of the monthly close process, the Senior Manager, Finance will coordinate and prepare analysis that gives insight into the performance of the business. Reporting to the Finance Director for US Biologics, this role is a key partner in providing transparency into the financials to give site and senior leadership the information necessary to make sound business decisions.

What will you do?

  • Manage Financial Planning and Analysis function of the Provide management oversight and career development to two direct reports

  • Assist month-end close of General Ledger

  • Prepare monthly financial reporting to management

  • Partner with Finance Director and Accounting Manager to lead the US Biologics Finance team.

  • Supervise and develop 3 direct reports.

  • Evaluate and analyze profitability

  • Support Manufacturing & Cost Accounting function

  • Create, develop, and manage standard reporting that is utilized by finance and non-finance team members

  • Develop strong link to all functional areas of the organization, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Quality, Operations & Program Management

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements

  • SOX implementation and on-going support

  • Assume other Finance, Accounting and Business Analysis responsibilities as determined

  • Support external and internal audit process by preparation of schedules and interaction with audit team

  • Other duties and projects as assigned

  • Responsible for maturing area systems and processes on an annual basis


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred, but not required


  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance

  • 7+ years of manufacturing accounting experience

  • Previous experience supervising direct reports required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interact with and influence all levels of personnel globally including senior management

  • Relevant experience in manufacturing is required. Experience in a factory environment is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and company accounting policies and practices, and unquestioned integrity in the application of such standards

  • SAP experience is preferred

  • Hyperion experience is preferred

  • Advanced desktop application experience Microsoft Power point, Excel, Word, and Access

  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and SEC reporting is a plus
