Provides security expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and leadership in all security related functions pertaining to: personal security; industrial and physical security; computer investigation and awareness; security operations; and other security business. Specialist positions to include: Computer IT and IT Infrastructure, Classification Management/Adjudication, Operations Security (OPSEC), Security Education and Awareness, Security Customer Service, Information Management/Technical Support, Special Security Actions/Investigations, TEMPEST, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Access Control and Industrial/Physical Security, along with Security Technicians, Security Project Managers, Security Office Coordinators and Security Technical Editors/Writers.
Maintains one or more of the following professional certifications: CISM, CIPA, CISSP. A working knowledge and understanding of the Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and NGA. ?Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (including but not limited to: correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, etc.). Be able to execute work independently and as a team member. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills – using tact, patience and courtesy. Be skilled in using the Microsoft ®Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
