Description
The Creative Group is seeking a Marketing & Events Assistant for a 6 month, contract to hire opportunity! This is a remote opportunity until July, then will be onsite 2 days/week, with flexible onsite hours.
This role is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of marketing & sales and executive leadership.
This includes:
• event coordination & onsite event management
• arranging travel
• scheduling & organizing meetings
o research & development of agenda
o meeting materials
o food/beverage
• preparing basic PowerPoint presentations
• building various reports and developing tracking spreadsheets
• marketing project management, managing timelines, keeping people on track
• researching topics & ghostwriting various blogs, white papers, articles, etc.
• manage and maintain executive team’s calendars
Qualifications:
• Strong event coordinator: logistics/travel, booth reservations, working with vendors, onsite event management
• Highly detailed project manager
• Quick learner and takes direction well but also proactive
• Thrives in a fast-paced, chaotic environment
• Enjoys writing and being creative
• Bachelor’s degree
Technical Requirements:
• Proficient in G-Suite
• Web-based CRM experience w/ Salesforce
Top Must Haves:
• Event management experience
• Open to travel (when it resumes)
o Two conferences, 3-4 days each (Las Vegas & California)
o Travel to company HQ in CA 1x per month
• Marketing project management
• Must be okay with some administrative work
