U.S. Bank Lead Analyst - CBB Dedicated Analytics, Enterprise Research Analytics in Saint Louis, Missouri
Reporting to U.S. Bank’s Enterprise Analytics team, this individual will be a highly engaged, expert analytics partner with a passion for how data can deliver value for their clients. The lead analyst will be expected to be flexible, but their primary responsibility will be to orchestrate analytics efforts for business leaders within the consumer bank by bringing data science, analytics, reporting, and data development to the table as strategies and products are designed. The Lead Analyst will work as both a leader and translator, designing analytical products and organizing a larger team of experts to deliver insights and intelligence.
As U.S. Bank’s data architecture and analytics capabilities are rapidly expanding, a successful candidate will need both broad expertise and the ability to learn new methods, data, and tools quickly. The Lead Analyst will understand and anticipate business needs, translate them into user stories that other analysts can act on, and often will design, develop, and join the work directly as a player-coach. This individual will act as a leader, but not a manager – their focus will be directing the day-to-day work of individuals to deliver rapid value, rather than hiring, training, and growing analysts.
