SSM Health Human Resources Representative in Saint Louis, Missouri

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and clear background checks for all hires.

  • Ensure each new hire completes their onboarding tasks prior to starting.

  • Ensure all hires complete and clear health assessment before start date.

  • Ensure new hire meets minimum requirements for position.

  • Make sure all required licensures and credentials are uploaded and properly documented for all hires.

  • Ensure any missing qualifications are primary sourced prior to start date.

  • Complete any required state regulatory checks not conducted by background check vendor.

  • Call all new hires offered with 24 hours of accepting an offer to establish communication of next steps and serve as a single point of contact for all Onboarding correspondences and inquiries.

  • Assist with any questions hires might have regarding their onboarding process.

  • Document all onboarding activity with detailed notations.

  • Meet the onboarding deadline for all hires for the following New Employee Welcome schedule.

  • Provide local HR Market with background checks requested by state auditors.

  • Communicate all changes in start dates with recruitment, new hires, and coordinate new start dates.

  • Coordinate the Pre-Adverse process and partner with HR Market for rescinding process

  • Assist other departments as needed for hire activity and inquiries.

  • Send LMS training documents to all rehires and new hires prior to start date.

  • Creates and maintains the New Employee Welcome roster ensuring accuracy.

  • Create New Hire Welcome letters for all markets.

  • Conduct sign-in at New Employee Welcome.

  • Take badge pictures at New Employee Welcome.

  • Create badges at New Employee Welcome.

  • Collect I-9 documentation and enter in Workday for E-Verify and audit completion for all regions.

  • Collect signed acknowledgment of compliance courses at New Employee Welcome.

  • Takes ownership of all assigned tasks, initiatives, inquiries, and escalations and makes sure that they are resolved/completed efficiently with a superior level of quality.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • High school/GED required, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1 year of experience working in Human Resources and/or in a customer service environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
