The Global Payroll Tax Manager is responsible for developing and implementing systems to compile information for various federal, state and international income tax matters. They will demonstrate expert knowledge of technical income tax and/or accounting discipline and positively influence processes, policies and procedures consistent with corporate values and Federal/State/International tax laws. This position provides senior level review of significant income tax matters and consultation on income tax conclusions and/or administrative and operational matters. The Global Payroll Tax Manager is responsible for a team of tax professionals and provides functional advice, direction and/or training. They establish operational objectives and assignments, delegates assignments and supervises the work of these tax professionals. The Global Payroll Tax Manager is responsible for leading and providing oversight to the payroll tax operations team, multiple tax project teams, the payroll accounting team and the payroll garnishments team.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $103,600 Mid: $148,000 Max: $192,400

AZ-Phoenix: Min: $103,600 Mid: $148,000 Max: $192,400

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $103,600 Mid: $148,000 Max: $192,400

TX-San Antonio: Min: $103,600 Mid: $148,000 Max: $192,400

UT-Salt Lake City: Min: $103,600 Mid: $148,000 Max: $192,400

CA-San Francisco: Min: $124,300 Mid: $177,600 Max: $230,900

GA-Atlanta: Min: $103,600 Mid: $148,000 Max: $192,400

CO-Englewood: Min: $103,600 Mid: $148,000 Max: $192,400

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of corporate income tax experience

  • 4+ years of management experience

  • 8+ years of payroll experience

Desired Qualifications

  • PeopleSoft experience

  • Vendor management experience

  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

  • Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring

  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and policies

  • Payroll tax experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday or Workday implementation

  • Global Payroll Tax Experience

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
