Kforce Development Coordinator in Saint Louis, Missouri
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Development Coordinator in Saint Louis, MO.Primary Responsibilities:
Provide day to day administrative support to the Foundation team
Assist the Executive Director with the cultivation and stewardship of donors by ensuring all information is captured in the departmental database and next steps are tracked as relationships are built and progress is made to securing a gift
Maintain Executive Director's calendar, directories, manuals, and training materials
Coordinate and maintain the overall health of the Raiser's Edge donor database, to ensure data consistency and accuracy of database information and email distribution through Constant Contact
Manage and process all charitable donations, providing accurate and timely processing of gifts and acknowledgment letters and other donor correspondence to ensure proper donor recognition and stewardship, including memorial/honor acknowledgments and matching funds requests
Provide leadership and support to all Foundation events
Assist in the development of policies and programs
Prepare executive reports, presentations, related materials and correspondence
Processes check requests and expense reports
Conduct preliminary research on prospective individual, corporate and foundation prospects
Assist in the preparation of proposal attachments and materials
Review local media sources for donor profile updates - deaths, marriages, births, etc.
Promote the values, goals, and objectives of the Foundation
Direct projects and assignments for Intern/Foundation Volunteer
Schedule and attend committee meetings and Foundation Board meetings
Help ensure the smooth operation of the office and other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field, preferred
Three (3 ) years of experience as a Development Coordinator, Executive Assistant or related position supporting an Executive Director, CEO or other executive level position preferably in a fundraising office setting
Acute attention to detail, with strong organization, problem-solving and analytical skills
Emotionally intelligent and self-aware, including the ability to both ask for/receive, and offer assistance or leadership when and where needed
Blackbaud experience in databases such as Raiser's Edge 7 or NXT, preferred
Experience with print, graphics, and presentation programs, (i.e., Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud)
Understanding of basic accounting principles, preferred
Excellent verbal and written skills with a high-level knowledge of data processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
Ability to work independently, multitask, identify priorities, and meet deadline
Limited night and weekend work required
