Charter Spectrum Contract Specialist in Saint Louis, Missouri

JOB SUMMARYProvides centralized pre-award and post award contract administrative support to the appropriate Business Unit BU. Acts as single point of contact within the Procurement Operations group to manage workspace creation, DOA approval, final contract execution and ongoing administrative support for the agreement going forward. Necessitates understanding of Ariba Contracts application, contracting methods and contract types to maintain and manage agreements.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Manages the contract lifecycle process.Acts as the contact person and subject matter expert for Company s centralized contract management solution.Assists BU personnel with creation of contract executive summary.Analyzes contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government specifications and other requirements.Creates contract workspace within Ariba Contracts, and performs up front review in alignment with standard procurement and contracting practices.Provides ongoing contract management, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements with both internal personnel and external stakeholders.Works closely with Procurement personnel, Legal, Finance and Business Units to track, maintain and manage agreements.Acts as procurement resource for company processes and procedures.Creates, negotiates and incorporates contract amendments, renegotiating the contract, if required, to accommodate scope changes.Exhibits deep culture of customer service excellence within the team.Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishStrong contract repository knowledge and skillsWorking knowledge of legal terms and their applicationStrong critical thinking and analytical skillsSuperior problem solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyExcellent organizational skills with great attention to detailProficiency in Windows suite of office toolsEducationBachelor s degree or equivalent work experienceRelated Work Experience Number of YearsContract management 3+Legal and contract background 3+PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills /Abilities and KnowledgeContract Management software/applicationsFamiliarity of the strategic sourcing processExperience with Legal, finance, and other inter-related departmentsWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environmentThe Spectrum brand is powered and innovated by Company .
