The Boeing Company Compensation Specialist in Saint Louis, Missouri

This position requires an experienced Compensation Specialist who will be responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of global salary administration processes that meet enterprise-wide objectives. This specialist will ensure enterprise level processes are outcome driven, market competitive, cost-effective and enable talent and business objectives. This specialist will establish and drive application of guidelines and requirements for design, development and deployment of global compensation processes, with a focus on salary administration (e.g., annual salary review, salary offers, promotions/demotions, transfers, etc.). This specialist will anticipate future trends for the enterprise and business units, and collaborate with Global Benefits, People Analytics, Global Compensation, Client Services and other stakeholders on market-based analyses, including country- and site-specific data and integration efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution and continuous improvement of global salary management processes that meet enterprise objectives.

  • Ensure processes are outcome driven, market competitive, cost-effective and enable talent and business objectives.

  • Establish and drive application of guidelines and requirements for design, development and deployment of global compensation processes, with a focus on salary management (e.g., annual compensation review, salary offers, promotions/demotions, employee movement, etc.).

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Broad-based comp process design, execution, evaluation, and optimization; market-based analyses, including country- and site-specific data, as appropriate;

  • Leading integration efforts across global compensation strategy, policy and process teams (salary management, job classifications, salary structures, compensation surveys, compliance, pay practices, etc.).

  • Communicate with, educate and train business partners on salary management matters.

Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 years in Microsoft Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets)

  • 5 years with compensation, classification, and salary systems

Preferred qualifications:

  • Workday experience

  • Experience with international compensation
