Considering the Strategic vision of Total Quality Management, the Market Quality Specialist will work with the local Market Unit Quality Champions/process owners and local Market Leadership Team to support the implementation of QMP and all applicable Mars Quality Standards.
What we are looking for:
Career Professional with 2+ years of market experience (operational sales, marketing and/or logistics), specifically experience building and designing and implementing quality systems and supporting processes.
Previous experience coordinating/leading project teams
Experience working with the standard deployment and process management
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or similar quality system certifications
Advanced degree in business related field
Deploy the required quality standards in each of the local market units of the North American region leading the design, implementation, training and monitoring systems necessary to meet the applicable Mars and third party accreditation body requirements.
Lead the continuous improvement of the local market quality systems through standardization of current procedures, coordination with local, regional and global stakeholders and ongoing training necessary to solidify the system with all associates In the market teams.
Coordinate the communication and implementation of new Mars Standards in the local market teams, facilitate capability feedback to the Mars Global Standards team and represent the local market on standard development teams for future standards.
Serve as trained internal auditor to the Mars Global and third party accreditation body standards, organize the internal and LRQA audits for the local market teams.
Serve on the Americas Crisis Management Team and support local teams as needed for critical response action.
Support the quality system implementation of the distribution centers inside the market scope to implement required standard implementation.
