We work with the best people to challenge conventional thinking and keep giving people innovative solutions for healthier lives and happier homes, through our brands.A fantastic opportunity is available for a Supply Finance Analyst to join our finance team in St. Peters, Missouri.The role of the Plant Cost Analyst is to assist the Plant Controller with the financial reporting for all operations of facility which include establishing standard costs for all finished goods and budget preparation and analysis to support achievement of Cost objectives.Responsibilities Financial reporting for all operations of manufacturing plant including:Updating monthly operations package with actual resultsAssisting in preparation and submission of the monthly LVPreparing and inputting all monthly journal entriesAnalyzing and reporting all manufacturing variances, i.e. Labor, Waste and Scrap, etc.Responsible for all account reconciliation related to the plant.Supporting Plant Controller and management team in achieving fixed overhead goals through detailed departmental reporting and analysis.Assist in establishing standard costs for all finished goods produced at the plant including:Coordinate and assimilate all standard cost data on a timely basis.Maintain all costing data in the JDE Manufacturing system, including labor, variable overhead, fixed overhead, etc.Participate in review of Bills of MaterialReview item master dataAssist with annual Budget preparation and analysis including:Develop finished goods standard costs for Budget yearAnalyze cost changes and report to Marketing Finance and Plant ManagementPrepare Budget operations package and related financial analyses for plant managementAssist Plant Controller in tracking and validating plant cost reduction program (Squeeze/X-trim projects.Responsible for financial input and preparation of cost estimates on new products as requested from the Project Management team.Follows plant Quality Systems, related SOP's Control Plans and workQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, cost accounting a plus (GPA above 3.5)3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical skillsStrong in Finance fundamentals and internal control aspectsExcellent communication skillsJDE ERP experience preferable - JDE SAP experience would be an advantageAbility to work well under pressure of financial reporting deadlines.Excellent Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Quality Control Plan, related SOP's and Work InstructionsAdaptable to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.Why RB?
