We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.Job TitleVice President, Analytics and MetricsOverviewThe VP, People Data and Analytics is a member of Mastercards People and Capability (PandC) organization and responsible for leading a globally distributed team providing data, analytics, and strategic decision support to global business units and regions.This individual will bring experience in people analytics, product management, consulting, data management and governance, data warehousing and engineering, the HR functional domain, and program management to help enable data-driven decisions about talent across Mastercard. You will have responsibility for leading a team dedicated to bringing data and insights in support of high-impact talent initiatives. Competitive candidates will be highly analytical, consultative, and action-oriented, with a track record of driving quantifiable results within a large multinational matrix organization.Roleo Works closely with business partners and Centers of Excellence (COE) to produce operational reports, metrics, dashboards, and diagnostic insights in support of key workforce questions and challengeso Defines the vision and roadmap for people analyticso Manages a product owner framework to build relevant descriptive, inferential, and predictive solutions across a broad range of data domains (e.g., Diversity, Recruiting, Talent)o Provides thought leadership to inputs from stakeholder teams into creative, scalable data and analytics solutions with measurable impacto Validates and enforces people data integrity in source systems and downstream appso Builds close partnerships with Data Privacy and Employment Law to ensure transparency on analytics projects and appropriate usage of people datao Provides program management support for performance management, talent reviews, employee experience surveys, and other key programso Produces executive-level reporting and scorecards (e.g., Workforce Highlights)o Demonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people dataAll About YouEssentialo Strong expertise in people research methods, business intelligence, and data visualization to help Mastercard recruit, select, grow, and retain talento Experience leading analytics and/or strategic HR consulting teams at a large multinational companyo Strong automation mindset with proven ability to simplify, standardize, and scale whilst capturing nuances across various business unit and regional settingso Proven ability to think on both global and local levels in complex matrix organizationso Ability to implement creative strategies to drive self-service solution adoption and minimize ad-hoc request demandso Proficiency in data architecture and modeling, with a focus on translating object-oriented architectures into complex relational data structures (e.g., Type 2 SCDs)o Experience managing and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools such as SQL, R or Pythono Experience with one or more enterprise-grade Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Tableau preferred)o Demonstrated experience collaborating with Engineering and technical organizations to influence priorities and advance projects with significant cross-team dependencieso Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially translati
