We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.Job TitleSenior Specialist, Communications, Operations and TechnologyThe senior specialist of communications is responsible for effectively communicating to internal and external audiences, the goals/strategy/objectives, security enhancements, partnerships, thought leadership and innovation coming out of Mastercards global Operations and Technology (OandT) business, with an emphasis on the Corporate Security division. Translates security and technology language into digestible content for employees and external audiences. Works closely with the Corporate Security, HR and the Employee Digital Experience team to assess business goals and corresponding communications needs; provide communications counsel; develop strategic messaging and execute communications via multiple channels. Provides communication support for Corporate Securitys thoughts leadership efforts, including external partnerships, sponsorships and programs. Creates and executes multiple integrated external/internal communications campaigns from start to finish. Supports Mastercards Fusion Center and provides communications support, including reviewing documents and reports, providing counsel, assisting in the coordination and execution of educational events, writing employee communications and promoting thought leadership. Collaborates with global and regional communications colleagues to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications campaigns for employees and external audiences. Supports speakers bureaus for thought leaders within Corporate Security, including calendars, conference/event placement, presentations, speeches, podcasts, social media content and videos.SkillsExceptional written and oral communication skillsAbility to work effectively with senior executives and uphold and represent Worldwide Communications standardsExperience working with business and technology mediaTrack record leveraging a broad range of media and communications vehicles to engage multiple audiencesSuperior teamwork and collaboration skillsExperience with multi-media tools, including website, graphic design and video production and editing platforms.Self-starter and ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environmentEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelors degree in public relations, journalism, or a related degree3+ years experience in public relations, media relations and employee communications in an agency and/or corporate settingDue to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
