Citigroup Quality Review Specialist 4 -Remote in O'Fallon, Missouri

Quality Specialist 4 (C-04) performs moderately complex and varied assignments. Works with limited supervision.. The Quality Analysts are engaged in reviewing legal documents for compliance to Federal, State and Local regulations. Perform Regulatory audits on all flow loans with in the Correspondent Channel. Assist with fee calculations to balance the APR Calculations, High Cost calculations, Citi Initiatives calculations and Texas 50 (a)(6) testing to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations. Due diligence examinations of real estate secured loans originated by Correspondents on a pre-purchase and post-purchase basis are conducted. Thorough knowledge of Company policies, real estate principles, mortgage loan documentation and loan closing as well as knowledge of State and Federal lending regulations are required. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. Understands how duties relate with others in the team/unit and how the unit integrates with others in accomplishing the work of the function. Exchanges moderately complex information with others. Applies research, information gathering and analysis skills to factual information.


  • Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business guidelines and tracks discrepancies.

  • Communicates procedural issues to management.

  • Works under limited supervision and established procedures.

  • Escalates complex issues to higher levels.

  • Applies specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge including underlying professional/technical principles or standards, which are well defined.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • High Attention to Detail and Quality within work

  • Proficient SharePoint and Excel knowledge as well as general PC Skills

  • Effective Interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills

  • Independent thought/objectivity; prior audit or quality control

  • 1-3 years relevant experience


  • High School diploma or equivalent
