Job Description:

Working alongside a cross-functional creative and strategy team, the Sr. Marketing Partner is responsible for the development and execution of the integrated marketing strategy for Partner Marketing and Mobility and care team communication solutions. The Marketing Partner will develop a holistic marketing plan with senior executives from relevant strategic business units. The associate will project manage and coordinate all aspects of the marketing plan inclusive of market research, solutions knowledge and positioning, core messaging by segment and audience, strategies and projects inclusive of assets that support sales and client engagements. This person will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy for Cerner’s partner marketing program and across multiple partners. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering partner marketing programs for other large brands including experience managing channel partners, MDF and co-op marketing budgets. He/she will be responsible for aligning other partner marketing and sponsorship programs involving marketing across the company, including Cerner sponsored events and partner validation/certification programs across the business. The role will have high visibility with Cerner and partner executives.

The marketing manager should be familiar with the spectrum of marketing tools and their usage inclusive of the traditional 4 Ps, but also the application of disciplines of marketing research and analytics, marketing communications, sales and client events, online and digital marketing, public relations, social engagement, campaign management, advertising and lead generation, as well as design and multimedia production. The ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with senior executives and creatively bring ideas to life is crucial to success. People management experience preferred.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Communications or Health Care Administration, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 3+ years of marketing work experience
