What You Will Do
Leads and supports business intelligence and data mining for various clinical, financial, and strategic operations functions. Leads and provides oversight for projects and teams supporting business analytics and decision-making processes including business, technology, and process. This role also requires developing relevant metrics to track performance and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
Serves as key resource/SME in collection and analysis of data from multiple sources for the development of reports and statistical information.
Works with functional users to clarify, plan, and build for their current and future reporting needs. Determines and maps existing business processes/functions and recommends changes required to align to integrated systems.
Coordinates preparation and submission of weekly, quarterly, and yearly reporting. Ensures compliance with internal requirements as well as regulatory requirements are achieved.
Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies, and procedures. Designs and implements projects requiring systems integration, small teams and multiple technical platforms.
Compiles analytical and statistical reports as needed.
Formulates, defines and recommends scope and format of reports.
Oversees provision of ad hoc management reports.
May provide leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff on how to access reports and interpret the data.
Identifies data trends and makes recommendations for quality improvement.
Parses, validates and scrubs data of widely differing formats.
Analyzes structured and unstructured data for business insight.
What You Will Need
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, Computer or Information Science, Physics, Behavioral and Social Sciences or other related technical or quantitative fields strongly preferred.
Bachelor's level or higher is strongly preferred.
1 year of experience required.
4 years of experience preferred.
2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
