Responsibilities and Qualifications
Each company at Vista Outdoor has its own unique DNA. From Federal, Remington, Bushnell, Bell, Giro, CamelBak and many more, we are united by a dedication to superior quality, performance-driven products, and a love of all things outdoors.
In line with our strategic priority to attract, engage, and educate consumers enabling frictionless cross-selling across our portfolio, we are adding a Business Intelligence Manager to our eCommerce team. Our vision is the implementation of a cohesive data analysis methodology to help normalize our data consumption and reporting abilities across the entire organization. We will look to you to support our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business and provide our house of brands with actionable consumer insights and online trends to drive revenue and profitability.
This role will fully leverage your experience in eCommerce data management platforms and your ability to work with various BI tools to build a fully integrated data collection and analytics ecosystem. Our stack is built around Salesforce Commerce and Marketing Clouds and we work with Google Analytics, Power BI, SEMrush, Rakuten, BrightEdge, etc. Your exposure and visibility will be significant as you partner with our corporate Business Insights team and the eCommerce teams at the brand level. Your success will be measured by your ability to develop and implement the unique functionality our brands require to remain competitive and innovative in their online DTC business strategies.
Ensuring the integrity of customer data and our compliance with current online data handling policies is essential. While reviewing and validating data at point of collection, you will develop policy and procedure influencing data collection at both the brand and corporate level. Your analysis and data profiling will lend itself to both the identification and understanding anomalies as well as informing our segmentation and digital marketing attribution strategies. As appropriate, you will create or discover new data procurement and processing programs. This will require cooperation with broader DTC teams, brand leadership and corporate IT to deploy software to leverage big data use cases. We expect you’ll remain current on the latest BI and Data management innovations in addition to Salesforce Commerce Cloud & Marketing platforms and related analytics tools, to improve our customers online shopping and brand experience.
There are varying levels of technical maturity and fluency across our house of brands and it’s essential that you have the organizational and communication skills to deliver in this environment. You will be empowered with the responsibility to deliver high-quality work while meeting development and implementation schedules and deadlines. This role is truly end to end. Your impact will be evident across all components of our eCommerce ecosystem from initial data collection and analysis through to digital marketing recommendations for increasing customer engagement and driving profitable revenue.
