Qualifications:

We're hiring a Dealer Business Development Specialist for the Missouri/Kansas/Illinois market. In this role you will:

  • Provide leadership for and coordinate all Purina dealer changes with in the market.
  • Be responsible for the development and execution of a Market Plan that includes key growth opportunities within existing Purina dealer network. These growth opportunities would include Mergers & Acquisitions as well as opportunities to grow market share within existing dealers.
  • Target high potential markets that are currently underserved by our distribution system and determine market strategy in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Develop and execute programs to assist Purina dealers to expand into additional markets.

Education and Experience required: - BS degree minimum in Ag related field or Business or related degree - 8-10 years’ experience in sales/dealer development - Understanding of a dealer-based distribution system - Prior experience evaluating business financials in determining business viability - Competent in using Microsoft products. Excel required - Ability for up to 60% overnight travel
