What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be the expert in providing passionate leadership to align Business Excellence (BEx) within the site. You will be part of a dynamic team who educates and coaches site personnel on BEx to assist in establishing a Company culture using business excellence every day.

Other duties will include:

  • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSEC performance standards, objectives, and regulations.

  • Lead Implementer, Teacher, and Coach of BEx for the Site. Vigorously participate as an active member of the BEx Site Steering Committee, ITF and Site management team. Coach on implementation actions proactively communicating between the various stakeholders to affect a smooth implementation.

  • Assist the Site Manager in directing the Site Steering Committee to effectively implement Bex (Lean Manufacturing)

  • Responsible for assisting the Site Manager in Strategic Planning (A3) implementation.

  • Liveand foster the IPL Corporate Values.

  • Provide site BEx leadership through direction, support, and guidance in all aspects of BEx.

  • Promote implementation of industry best practices, pursue the elimination of waste and support initiatives in manufacturing.

  • Identify areas to improve safety and quality and minimize the impact on current production.

  • Promote and drive standardization of systems and processes.

  • Prepare reports and communicate updates as required on BEx deployment status, progress and outcomes using nominated Company business systems.

  • Participate in Incident investigations, problem-solving, regulatory inspections and audits and close all related actions items.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant experience.

  • Prior experience in lean manufacturing techniques, not an absolute requirement

  • 3 years Leadership experience

  • Knowledge of manufacturing business systems and the chemical process preferred.

  • Intermediate computer skills including intermediate or advanced MS Excel Skills is preferred.

  • Computer literacy

  • Demonstrated Project Management skills

  • Ability to provide direction and coaching to others in an effective leadership manner

  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among teams

  • Positive attitude,friendly demeanor, and team player
