This position will be located in Kansas City, MO

Summary of Duties:

  • This role will primarily support the Log In function in Receiving Inspection

  • Provide data to management and works to resolve issues by providing clear communication among team members

  • Reports workload capacity, material problems, and ship production information to management

  • Routinely works cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Purchasing, and other organizations

  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, often with competing priority levels

  • Maintain metrics for department

  • Conducts routine and special analysis which involves compiling data, analyzing results, preparing and maintaining documentation, proposing and implementing recommendations

  • Utilizes appropriate computer software to complete assignments, including PeopleSoft ERP system, Microsoft Office, Solumina and other available products

  • Assists in the development of innovations in departmental systems and functions

  • Develops, revises, and maintains divisional procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance

  • Coordinates day-to-day system operations and resolves operating problems and errors

  • Provides training and guidance to others working on the reporting systems

  • Provides varying degrees of computer system expertise and support

  • Assist teams and management as necessary to accomplish division/department objectives

  • Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to ""stop"" work when an unsafe condition is identified

    You Must Have:

  • U.S. citizenship in order to obtain and maintain U.S. Department of Energy ""Q"" level security clearance

  • 3 or more years of experience in an Integrated Supply Chain, Business, or Manufacturing field

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field such as Integrated Supply Chain, Business, or Data/Business Analytics

  • Self-starter

  • Demonstrated ability to work on a collaborative basis with both internal and external customer groups including but not limited to quality, engineering, supervisors, and maintenance
