Spring Venture Group Sales Specialist Manager in Kansas City, Missouri

What We Want: Spring Venture Group is looking to add an exciting new position to our growing company! We are looking to bring in a Sales Specialist Manager to help oversee a team of sales specialists who are responsible for pre-qualifying leads before transferring them to a licensed Medicare agent. In this position, you will be highly involved in the day-to-day call monitoring of your direct team and responsible for holding them to high performance standards. You will provide input on strategic decisions of the team, including the implementation of metrics, analyzing data, report preparation and process improvement initiatives. You would also be responsible for the hiring, development, motivation and performance management of your team members. What You’ll Do: As the Sales Specialist Manager, you will provide oversight and direction to our Sales Specialists and organize and coordinate work assignments, facilitate team training requirements, and provide effective performance feedback. You will also handle conversations with your team on the progressive discipline process, and individual development plans, as needed. For our Sales teams, we work to foster a competitive, yet collaborative, team environment. You will identify daily workflow issues and problem areas while working with fellow managers and other Sales leadership to develop and implement solutions in a collaborative environment. You will also coordinate inter-department and external activities and projects, liaise with other departments, and ensure that both expectations and quality goals are being met. What You’ll Bring to the Role: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or other related fields OR relevant work experience A minimum of 5 years’ work OR military experience in a customer facing role 3-5 years of successful leadership experience in a fast-paced work environment, including monitoring metrics and managing performance A minimum of 3 years in a call center environment Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets/quotas Previous experience in meeting time-sensitive deadlines and experience in project prioritization Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, including over the phone High level of self-motivation and professionalism Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
