Project Assistant
job summary:
Contract position: Engineering client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Project Assistant/Admin for a long term contract assignment in Kansas City, MO. Our client prefers motivated candidates with an AS or BS degree and 2-5 years of clerical or project administration experience. Experience doing this for any type of engineering, construction or utility company would be considered a plus.

responsibilities:
You will support architecture, engineering and construction projects by assisting the Project Manager and project team in providing administrative project support
Collect information, format, and issue weekly and monthly progress reports
Assist with provisioning projects and setting up general project documents
Manage project calendars
Record, format, and publish team meeting minutes
Work with document management software programs to send workflows & transmittals to clients
Coordinate, set-up, tear down large team meetings
Maintain team documents, such as distribution matrix and contact lists
Act as a communication liaison between internal team & client regarding scheduling conflicts and travel arrangements
Assist Project Management Team with booking travel and doing expense reports as needed
Coordinate between the Home Office and Construction Site teams
Track and register team members for required project trainings
Be the point of contact for miscellaneous needs and question of the project team, prioritizing needs as necessary
