Product Regulatory Strategist
As a Product Regulatory Strategist on the Regulatory Strategy team, you will provide corporate regulatory strategy by identifying potential opportunities, conducting market research and collaborating to create solution requirements. You will apply knowledge of current health care information technology regulatory rules to assess impact to clients and research applicable federal regulations, programs and payment systems for health insurance programs or related strategic initiatives. You will create executive summaries, whitepapers and other collateral to provide guidance and awareness of regulatory requirements for associates and clients, craft, communicate and justify regulatory roadmap across the corporate portfolio in partnership with solution and technology strategy stakeholders, and identify regulatory business requirements and collaborate with solution experts to define solution requirements to ensure it meets market needs including best practice workflows and scope of capabilities. As a key member of the team, you will write regulatory business requirements and track respective response strategies with business owners and facilitate gap analysis of regulatory requirements against current software, content, and guidance material with business owners. At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
1 year of compliance, regulatory affairs and/or quality management work experience
5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the job
At least 1 year of Healthcare Regulatory and Compliance work experience
Located in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City area
Willing to travel up to 10% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
