Organizational Overview

As an Associate with SS&C Health, you will be part of an organization that promotes better health outcomes for consumers through clinical and technological innovations. Role Overview

The Product Manager assists with and participates in product planning and execution throughout the entire product life cycle, from concept through end-of-life planning. They have a strong understanding of the competitive features and capabilities and market trends that may impact a successful new product launch. They apply technical expertise, business acumen, product knowledge, and industry experience to effectively manage the product lifecycle. The Product Manager represents the market within the division and works with development to ensure delivery of relevant and value-generating software and solutions.


  • Point –person for non-technical teams, prospects, marketing and sales team and other stakeholders

  • Deliver product feedback based on analytical data, focus or test group reactions, and client observations.

  • Engage in and support the engineering build of a product as well at the non-technical efforts for a product.

  • Create and maintain product roadmap (internal processes, strategies, procedures, marketing, research)

  • Prioritize features and corresponding justification

  • Work with external third parties to assess partnership and licensing opportunities

  • Creating and refining customer segments

  • Identifying, refining and evaluating customer needs and market opportunities

  • Creating and maintaining user stories to meet customer needs

  • Working closely with designers and developers to bring stories to life within the product

  • Engaging with sales teams and our customers to support pre-sales activity

  • Working with customers, client services and implementation teams to elicit feedback and refine the product

  • Designing and leading the implementation of Adobe Analytics across our digital experience platform

  • Designing and executing tests to optimize the user experience based on analytics


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 1 year of work-related experience, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience

  • Web analytics experience in the implementation and use of Adobe analytics

  • Healthcare experience, ideally plan side or in a product company or consultancy/agency servicing a plan

  • Digital experience, ideally developing and supporting consumer facing digital apps

  • Product management experience, ideally with the Strategyzer framework

  • Exposure working within a larger agile development team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
