JLM Strategic Talent Partners Payroll Admin in Kansas City, Missouri

JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking a detailed Certified Payroll Administrator for a major project in Kansas City, MO. The position requires an individual who can prioritize work effectively, adapt to the different working styles of the other members, organize work product and other materials for easy access, and anticipate, communicate, problem solve, and plan for inevitable changes in his/her assignments, workload and deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Oversees field employment administration, EEO policies, and payroll submission

  • Performs clerical work including: keeping records or accounts, filing, letter writing, or transcribing

  • Manages the badging system onsite and the data pulled from it

  • Interfaces with craft employees to issue new badges

  • Uses data from badging system to validate payroll

  • Facilitates records maintenance

  • Assists Safety team administrative and clerical work; mostly helping maintain dashboards and tracking employee information

  • Performs quarterly jobsite operational reviews to assure compliance with policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Accounts Payable experience

  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures

  • Accuracy and detail-oriented

  • Construction industry knowledge preferred

  • Associate degree or relevant certification is a plus
