We are currently looking for an Operations Specialist to join our Deposit Operations team. Check out the details below. What youill doiPerform daily deposit operational functions to include wire transfers, ACH and treasury.i Assist customers with inquiries and requests in a Call Center environment for accounts, online banking, and debit cards. Process daily operational reports and coordinates processing of items with Core Processor within daily deadlines.i This includes online banking and mobile deposits, deposit rejects, insufficient funds, orphan items, teller corrections, uncollected funds, recon items and charge backs.i Serve as a liaison with corporate finance department regarding general ledger entries and related deposit functions posted to the Federal Reserve G/L.i Balances department G/L Recons for WIP (work in process) daily, and all Unposted Accounts monthly.Assist in the set-up and opening of all Debit Cards and Online Banking accounts.Processing Debit Card unauthorized or disputed items, as well as fraudulent investigations while ensuring compliant with Reg E. Process and track Jumbo Certificate of Deposits (i.e. QwickRate) for the bankis overall investment and liquidity portfolio.i Provide verification of all Wire Transfers, both domestic and international, via the respective Correspondent Banks online web portals as part of a dual control process. Oversee deposit tax corrections for all 1099-Ints, 1099-Misc forms, 1099-Rs for IRAs/HSAs, 5498is for IRAs/HSAs, and 1098 Adjustments circulated from our Mortgage Division or Loan Department.iii Research and resolve problems in reference to customer inquiries,i and in reference to Right to Financial Privacy files that includes summons, subpoenas, garnishment, levies, and verifications.ii Process ACH disputes and is (Notice of Change) via the FedLine Advantage software.Follow all applicable laws and regulations in relation to all deposit accounts, and debit card processing.i Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.What youill bringiQualified candidates must have a High School Degree or equivalent AND 2 years of cash handling/retail banking/customer service experience.ii Knowledge of retail products/services and bank regulations/compliance.iiii Bonus PointsiStrong organizational abilitiesi Strong number orientation and accuracy with detail orientationExcellent customer service skillsiii Must have excellent verbal and written business communication skillsiiii Must have solid computer skillsOur Hiring ProcessiAfter we review your application and feel youire a potential fit we will reach out with next steps.
