Learning Designer - Truman Medical Center
As a Learning Designer, you will design content and materials in a variety of applications for learning and behavior change. This includes designing and developing content for blended learning and behavior change in a variety of applications, developing instructional materials and leveraging and building upon Cerner’s learning methodology, architecture and appropriate toolsets. You will work with a team of subject matter experts, multi-media developers and others to provide effective and engaging instruction that builds motivation and ability as well as establish measurement plans for learning solution effectiveness using best practice methodologies aligned with performance and business outcomes.

At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
At least 1 year including human resources work experience
At least 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, Communications, Health Care, Marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 1 year of experience with one or more of the following web development tools: adobe creative suite, captivate, articulate, ispring, healthstream, camtasia
At least 1 year of experience in Health care information technology (HCIT)
Must reside in or around the Kansas City area
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
