Job Description

Real Estate Junior Trainer

The Expansion Brands at Realogy is seeking a remote Junior Trainer to provide training to our residential real estate agents, which include sales skills. The position will be part of the Learning Center of Excellence Team (LCOE) and will play a key role in driving our agents’ businesses forward.

The ideal candidate has experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs and virtual instruction. Also helpful is experience with a variety of different projects, such as management training, onboarding and developing soft skills.

If you think you can create engaging ways to train and engage our Real Estate Sales associates and brokers owners (e.g. client role-playing exercises or outdoor activities), we’d like to meet you!

This position will report to the VP of Learning in the Learning Center of Excellence and have a matrixed reporting relationship to the learning function and business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide virtual skill-based training sessions to agents and affiliate leadership to help effectively manage and grow their business.

  • Coordinate and communicate with agents (your “clients”), managers, and departmental teams in order to maintain seamless and structured training.

  • Produce online training events for other trainers as well as co- teach with peer trainers both virtual and live when possible.

  • Effective Project Management as needed.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders for regional brand events.

  • Coordinate learning calendars with Learning Center of Excellence Team and Expansion Brands (including communications, marketing and operation teams).

  • Evangelize and drive adoption / usage of brand tech tools across the company, including those created for agents and affiliate staff.

  • Establish creative ways for agents to leverage technology and leverage the virtual environment to generate new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree highly preferred.

  • Real Estate License preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in real estate training or business development.

  • Strong organization, administrative and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross functional teams.

  • Tech and web-savvy, quick learner of online productivity tools, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Working knowledge of Camtasia or Adobe Premier.

  • Knowledge of how to edit minor video productions; such as adding a ‘top and a tail’ to video content.

  • The ability to work independently at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment.

  • Willingness to take feedback and incorporate it into your work.

  • Experience in adult learning theories and principles is a huge plus.

  • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 15%).

  • This position is 100% remote.
