While working at DST Financial Services, you will help our clients discover opportunities in the complexities associated with mounting inflows of data, rapid technological advancements, shifting regulatory change, rising security risks and increasing demands from their customers. Your job is to help our clients discover opportunity through technology, strategic advisory and business improvement solutions. You will work with some of the world’s leading Alternative Asset Managers, Asset Management Service Companies, Banking Companies, Broker-Dealers, Distribution Companies, Insurance Companies and Retirement Companies. Everyday our global offices in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States work together to master the complexity of the financial industry to transform the most challenging tasks into opportunity and competitive advantage.
In your role as a Financial Services Representative, you will evaluate, verify, and process service requests from shareholders, third-party entities, institutions, broker/dealer operations, or client Fund/Stock groups. Associates research, resolve, and/or respond to such queries in either written or oral means. You will work as part of a team for the purpose of provided proactive and innovative solutions to customers. Team members share a commitment to professional development and delivery of quality service.
Provide world class service to our customers by processing service requests that come to the team through various channels including email, facsimile and mail. Typical service requests include purchases, redemptions, transfers, exchanges, account maintenance and new account set-up.
Accuracy is vitally important in this role as you deal with investments. You will review transactions for quality, ensuring the accuracy of the work entered.
On occasion you will work with clients over the phone in order to resolve complex issues. This role, however, is performed about 90% of the time via computer.
You will have the opportunity to cross train in different areas to expand your knowledge base and help you develop new skills as you advance in the company.
High school degree and up to 1 year of work-related experience
Intermediate PC skills with the ability to maneuver between multiple open windows
Strong attention to detail, with ability to prioritize and manage your workload
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Keyboarding skills with ability to type at least 30 WPM with a high degree of accuracy
Prior coursework of experience within financial services helpful – training provided
