Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions. The BilingualDonor Contact Specialist handles (both English and Spanish) inbound and outbound phone inquiries, internal and external emails, and inter-company communication regarding the drug screening process. The position requires strong English/Spanish oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to problem solve. Appropriate documentation of client, donor, and agent activity is critical. This role encompasses both full and part-time opportunities. Full or part-time schedules will vary between 7AM and 7PM, Monday – Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to phoneand email inquiries regarding donor contact procedures and pending results.

  • Track andfollow-up on documentation related to the screening process, handle informationwith discretion, and ensure documents are provided to the MRO Vendor in atimely manner.

  • Resolvequestions, inconsistencies, or missing information as required.

  • Prepare and sortsource documents, identify and interpret calling required and data to be documented.

  • Enter data fromsource documents into computer following each action taken, and enter necessarycodes to represent the action.

  • Make necessarycorrections to information entered.

  • Compile, sort,and verify accuracy of all donor information in the review process.

  • Requestdocumentation from vendors, clinics, or clients as required to complete thetransaction.

  • Providetranslation assistance where needed, including via phone and/or writtendocumentation.

  • Other duties asassigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High schooldiploma or equivalent

  • One to threemonths related experience and/or training;

  • OR equivalentcombination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency inboth English and Spanish is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year degreefrom an accredited college or university

  • Prior drugtesting knowledge

  • Federal DOT drugtesting regulation knowledge
