FleishmanHillard Account Supervisor - Brand Marketing in Kansas City, Missouri


FleishmanHillard is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Supervisor , with social media and influencer relations experience, to join our Brand Marketing team in Kansas City. Successful candidates will provide organic and paid social media strategy and content support; and influencer strategy and implementation for multiple client accounts. Part strategist, part hands-on tactician, this team-member will have a key role in envisioning, leading and implementing social and influencer programs across B2C and B2B accounts within a true global network.

  • Write and edit social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn) and website content. Manage paid social activations.

  • Manage strategic influencers plans fromidentification efforts, coordination, outreach, planning, and implementation.

  • Manage day-to-day activities for one or more client accounts, including content creation and project management.

  • Work with teams and vendors to provide clients with seamless multi-channel solutions utilizing traditional PR, social and digital platforms to deliver maximum performance and results.

  • Write and edit editorial and marketing materials highlighting executive thought leaders, national trends and company initiatives.

  • Develop and manage positive relationship with clients and vendors.

  • Report account progress, facilitate invoice processing and manage budget tracker.

  • Coordinate with clients and agencies on priorities, as well as collateral available to incorporate on website.


Candidates should have 5-8 years of integrated marketing and/or digital communications experience at an agency, including 3-4 years of hands-on social media and influencer program execution.

Additionally, applicants should have:

  • Strong Understanding of Social Media Tools and Platforms: Must be proficient in the tactical use of core platforms, most notably Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube. Experience with social media management systems/platforms is preferred.

  • Intermediate Integrated Communications Strategy Development Experience. Genuine curiosity and interest in moving audiences from awareness to action across a mix of communications platforms. Understanding of the role of organic and paid social media in an integrated communications or marketing plan.

  • Content Planning, Storytelling, and Community Management Experience. Mindset of a storyteller and ability to develop a narrative through content on social channels. Ability to create and maintain social media editorial calendars, plan and coordinate social content across a brand’s social eco-system for both organic and paid placements, and work closely with creatives and designers to bring that content to life. Experience with social media community management preferred.

  • Creativity and Intermediate/Advanced Writing Ability. Creative thinking and strong writing/editing skills are required. Experience regularly drafting messages (both proactive and reactive) on behalf of a large brand or organization.

  • Expertise in Managing Paid Social Programs. Understanding of paid social landscape including hands on experience running paid social programs required. Candidate must know how to effectively build and target custom audiences and how to execute and report on ad buys.

  • Ability to Monitor and Interpret Social Media Metrics: Candidate must be well versed in social monitoring best practices and able to use online monitoring tools, platform-specific metrics insights tools and more to demonstrate reasoning behind social recommendations and track successes.

  • Ability Work Collaboratively in a Team Setting: Must be a consummate team player who brings a passionate, positive, high-energy approach to client service and delivering results. Ideal candidate should possess excellent relationship skills; be a good listener; respect the expertise of others; and have ability to motivate and generate effective action from all levels of the organization. Candidate must have a spirit of continuous learning and curiosity.

  • Demonstrated success in end-to-end influencer relations , including: identification, vetting, negotiation, creative and content direction, relationship management, measurement and analysis.

  • Ability to give strategic direction to influencers whether organic, earned or sponsored and proven ability to collaborate with agency team, clients and influencers/their agents to ultimately produce high-performing content.

  • Understanding of various filters and benchmarks that make someone influential for a given brand, service, category or sector.

  • Demonstrated organizational and record-keeping skill s necessary for influencer contracting/legal, invoicing/financial execution, and data collection related to influencer audience and post-specific metrics.
