Fiserv Sr. Certification Analyst in Jefferson City, Missouri

What does a great Sr. Certification Analyst do?

The purpose of the Network Certification analyst is to manage all STAR Network client certifications. This role is important to Fiserv as it guarantees quality of transaction processing in the network. A candidate has the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the Card Services industry, network processing, and Fiserv offered products. Significant opportunity to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization and interface with clients regularly. You will serve as a primary point of contact for STAR Network clients and all associated testing efforts. Other key components to this role include defining, maintaining, and running test script(s) while maintaining test logs for long-term examination.

Candidates are expected to have a basic understanding of financial fundamentals to assist with improving profitability, reducing waste, and minimizing expense within your own area. The ability to anticipate delays and seek out alternate solutions while ensuring at risk tasks are reported to leadership is key. This role is expected to perform with minimal supervision, adhere to internal policies and controls, and adapt quickly to change.

In this role, you can look forward to:

  • Participating in Agile development process

  • Identifying operational impact of changes and working with team member to incorporate into daily SOPs.

  • Ensuring operational readiness for development and product changes.

  • Acting as escalation point for technical teams for daily production issues

  • Participating in the gathering of team requirements for projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • 2+ Years Direct Client Management / Relationship Management Experience

  • Proven ability to clearly communicate complex technical specifications to clients and implementation teams

  • Highschool Diploma w/ applicable experience required

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration :

  • 2+ Years Financial Industry Experience

  • Paragon Webfastest Experience

  • Card Services product knowledge relating to network processing and transaction flow

  • QA/Certification Experience

  • Bachelors Degree highly preferred
