Role Summary:

The Government Property Analyst develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In the role of Government Property Analyst, you will be responsible for work that is defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect

predominantly short-term and some long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as the Government Property Analyst, you will:

  • Act as primary interface between GE and customers on Government Property matters

  • Interface with Property Reps across the business including Manufacturing, Program Management, Engineering Test

  • Perform government property administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision

  • Provide support to managers and more senior property management personnel on assigned GPM Functions

  • Interface with the customer on property management matters

  • Provide interface liaison with functional organizations and insure proper communication of requirements

  • Review processes to ensure overall efficiency

  • Run reports from Oracle and GPS data systems for analysis and per customer requests for data

  • PLEASE NOTE: Work Location listed is Evendale, OH. However, this position may also be eligible at our Lynn, MA location Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, project management, IT solutions, or Development Assembly / Test conversant with Oracle and GPS data systems)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with corporate execution of government property management functions or contract formation and execution ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

  • PLEASE NOTE: Work Location listed is Evendale, OH. However, this position may also be eligible at our Lynn, MA location

  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment Desired Characteristics:

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) CPPS, CPPA, or CPPM certification

  • Knowledge of contract law and formation

  • Demonstrated ability to take lead role in routine asset management functions

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
