The function is made up of around 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications & Employee Engagement; Corporate communications.
BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. The Global Industry Internal Communications and Engagement Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of internal communications and engagement programs for EY’s Global Industry Markets (a grouping of Global Sector communities). This includes developing communications plans, materials and approaches aligned with the Global Industry communication framework for the overarching Industry Markets, as well as the individual sectors within the Industry Markets.
In this role, you will act as a business partner to the Industry Market, providing strategic communications support to engage internal audiences (including leadership, global sector partners and communities, account teams, and others across EY), with the priorities, goals and key initiatives of the Industry Market and the Sectors within it.
You will be expected to work in an agile manager, supporting individual projects in other Industry Markets when required, or identifying where a communications deliverable can be deployed across multiple Industry Markets.
This also includes working as part of a broader team responsible for developing and delivering the overarching internal communications program to promote and drive the overall role of EY’s Global Industry program.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will focus on building robust communications plans and developing creative content that supports the successful activation of Sector go to market campaigns and sector solutions. To accomplish this, you will be required to build relationships with counterparts in priority Regions, to ensure that global Sector content is deployed locally.
You will work closely with, and coach, the Global Delivery Services (GDS) Sector Communications and Engagement team, who are responsible for communications channel delivery to the Sectors. Together with GDS, you will ensure that channels are timely, incorporate best practice and contain content that supports the Industry Market’s priorities and engages audiences.
Finally, you must build strong relationships with the Global Leadership team of the Industry Market and work collaboratively across the communications and engagement team and the wider EY Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function to deliver integrated, consistent communications.

Substantial brand, marketing and communications experience in a world-class global organization and an understanding of EY’s audiences and matrix organization is essential.
To qualify for the role you must have
Excellent written verbal communications skills
The knowledge, skills and abilities needed to establish and refine the strategies that drive brand as well as organizational performance and add value to the business
The knowledge, skills and abilities concerning global business fundamentals, business models, ethics, competitive analysis and cross-cultural/geographical sensitivities
The ability to provide strategic communications counsel as well as the identification of newsworthy angles and messaging that brings the sector story to life for EY’s diverse audiences – engaging all internal audiences including leadership, sector audiences, account teams, and people across EY
The ability to manage competing stakeholder requests and prioritize projects will be key, ensuring alignment with key areas of focus for BMC and the business.

Substantial brand, marketing and communications experience in a world-class global organization,
Experience delivering markets communications and engagement programs within a people organization with proven and demonstrable results
History of developing business content to a publishable standard
Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with senior-level stakeholders

We are looking for an experienced, resilient team player with strong stakeholder management skills and good business acumen who is comfortable with working in an agile manner, supporting multiple stakeholders. You will be a change agent within the Industry Market, driving innovation in communication practices and are hands-on, responsive with excellent writing and publishing skills. You will have experience in developing and deploying communications plan that employ a mix of media, such as video, infographics, and podcasts.
Success in this role will be through the delivery of comprehensive, world-class internal communications and engagement programs that deliver sustainable, measurable results. Success will be measured through program usage, EY’s global people survey and pulse check and the global brand survey.
