Fuelled by strategic investment in technology and innovation, Client Technology seeks to drive growth opportunities and solve complex business problems for our clients through building a robust platform for business and powerful product engine that are integral to innovation at scale. You will work with technologists and business specialists, blending EY’s deep industry knowledge and innovative ideas with our platforms, capabilities, and technical expertise. As a champion for change and growth, you will be at the forefront of integrating emerging technologies from AI to Data Analytics into every corner of what we do at EY. That means more growth for you, exciting learning opportunities, career choices, and the chance to make a real impact.
Customer Success works with G360s and accounts in Regions, in collaboration with the Service Lines, to bring the full spectrum of Tech@EY capabilities in support of the accounts GTM and engagements. A key tenet of Tech@EY is our message to the market ‘Technology to power the Human Enterprise’ with key success planks around Technology@Speed, Innovation@Scale and Humans@Center. This role will lead the establishing of a Human Tech Lab construct, where we can provide demonstrations, thought leadership and collaboration opportunities for our accounts with a clear focus to activate and reinforce our brand position on Tech to power the Human Enterprise.
Your key responsibilities
Work closely with all functions across Client Technology to understand existing capabilities, products and platforms through the lens of the Human Enterprise. Work to support the Service Lines to activate a Tech for the Human Enterprise in our thinking, innovation and design of products and platforms. Collaborate closely with the Wavespace teams in bringing thought leadership, demonstrations and insights for Wavespace sessions, particularly with the G360s around Tech for the Human Enterprise and in consideration of tech to support Future Working World scenarios, as developed by EYQ.
The Lab will be based in a single location but will have a ‘spoke’ model within the Regional Hubs virtually and physically, if desired by the Region. The virtual network will be able to run demos, Wavespace sessions and position EY around the world as activators and thought leaders for Tech for the Human Enterprise. The Leader will be expected to support meetings with industry analysts and have point of view on new and emerging technologies and their impact on humanity, business and society.
The Lab will be expected to bring very diverse thinking to help solve problems for humanity including working with start-ups, academics, artists, neurodiversity and be a showcase for diversity and inclusion, with people working hand in hand with technology and digitization. In the first 90 days, the leader will be expected to review a selection of top CT products through a Human Enterprise lens and develop a Wavespace-style experience / showcase for the G360 accounts which incorporates and leverages the broader Tech@EY platform differentiators.
Develop a POV and strategy to activate Technology to Power the Human Enterprise across the Tech@EY communities (CT, ET, Infosec, Service Line Tech, GDS, Alliances). Build a network of Labs, virtually and physically, staffed with new graduates and rotational professionals from across Tech@EY, working with external parties and set the goals and objectives for the Labs annually with quarterly updates.
Responsible for the Tech Lab and its activation into ‘spokes’ in the Regions and at the G360 accounts. Responsible for a small team centrally and a ‘team of teams’ regionally. Establish partnership relationships with the Service Lines, Wavespace, GDS and Alliance teams.
Skills and attributes for success
Advanced understanding of new and emerging technology and its impact on society and humanity. Experience of working with diverse groups of collaborators on innovative and future-forward scenarios. Understanding of behavioral economics and behavioral psychology and the impact of technology on people. Ability to speak with authority on Tech@EY and in particular the messaging and examples of how EY is bringing to life ‘Technology to Power the Human Enterprise’.
Expected to write and publish thought leadership papers for the market. Expected to provide training, seminars, learning on Tech to power the Human Enterprise to Tech@EY professionals and create energy and activation across CT and the rest of the business in support of the strategy. Expected to take part in G360 acceleration sessions where we challenge our accounts and clients to go beyond traditional thinking and into new technology enabled business models.
